| Barb purchased Perfect Pet in January 1999 In May 2005 to December 2006 she was a partner in another grooming and training shop. And on Jan. 1, 2007 she became Barb's PERFECT PET GROOMING |
| Barb's training for this career path actually began in Sept. 1979 when she became a member of Straw Hats 4-H club; where she and her sheltie trained and competed in obedience, jr. showmanship, and team competitions. As an adult she attended obedience, confirmation, and (k-9) personnel protection training classes. She also competed in AKC obedience and confirmation shows. In 1996 she became a grooming and dog training apprentice; which lead her to the purchase of Perfect Pet. Today she continues to compete in AKC shows and attends training to further her grooming and dog handling skills. |
